When "life" is getting you down, remember the phrase: "My Dad is bigger than your Dad."
That may sound silly, but when you think about it, then research it, it is so very true. Consider these:
- "Your Dad" may manipulate the weather and the sea, but "my Dad" created the sea, and the weather i.e. heaven and earth.
- "Your Dad" may lead you to believe there is a Sun God, or a moon/star goddess, but "my Dad" created the moon and stars.
- "Your Dad" may find pleasure in attacking me and my home, but "my Dad" cares for me. He wants me to be safe, secure, and sufficient and he provides for my every need to be met.
- "Your Dad" may tease you with happiness reached through riches, but "my Dad" provides the way for happiness, and sufficiency and for the desires of my heart.
My Dad is bigger than your Dad. So there!
Do you have more "my Dad in heaven is bigger than your Dad" references? I would love to hear them, please leave me a comment.
Thanks for dropping by!
