"Arrrrrrggggg! Why is this happening to me”, said Li’l Light?
“I am not bad and I do good things all the time. I help the sick, I help the hungry, I give to the poor, and it’s not fair” she said! “Why, oh why, oh why, is my life so filled with pain," she exclaimed.
Li’l Light went to see her friend who was renowned for her good advice. Her friend said, "You are not doing enough good deeds. You should give more to the hungry and help the sick. This will surely turn around your misfortunes".
So Li’l Light worked her full time job. Then, every day she would work more and more hours so she could give to the sick and the poor. Soon Li’l Light was exhausted. She still had problems upon problem knocking on her door.
Next, Li’l Light went to a palm reader. The palm reader told her the tarot cards told all and saw all. She said, "Tomorrow your problems will cease for sure and your days will be bright again".
But, tomorrow arrived and with it, another problem came to Li'l Lights door. Li’l Light was very distraught. Again she thought, “Why is this happening to me? I did exactly as my friend and the palm reader told me".
She went back to the palm reader who advised, " You must pay three days salary for another tarot cards reading and you must then not eat chocolate for three weeks". Li’l Light thought three weeks without chocolate would not be easy, but, this was not too much to pay or too much to endure to have her problems go away.
At first Li’l Light thought the palm reader had solved her problem because for four days she had no new problems and one of the old problems went away. But then on the fifth day, three new problems came knocking on her door. These were twice as bad as any of the problems she had ever encountered before.
Oh how Li’l Light felt defeated. She was out of money, problems surrounded her and she felt she had no place to go for help. She said to herself, “I am so depressed and all alone”. Li’l Light's room went very dim. She cried and cried.
When she finally stopped crying, she turned on the TV. There she saw a funny looking light with a funny nose and she thought, "He's cute". So she began to watch the show.
Funny Looking Light was talking about how he was once in a bad way but now was so happy he could not stand it. He had been in a bad way because he took that funky fuel that lights were told never to use. You know, it was the stuff that would put their lights out for good. Never-the-less he tried it and got a high flame from using it, so he took it more, and more, and more, until he couldn’t stop. He lost everything and had so many problems. He had thought, he would just blow his own light out.
About this time and while he was at the Light Socket bar, two lights showed up (one was the most beautiful blonde light his eye lights had ever beheld). He offered to buy the blonde light a drink. She said yes. He almost fainted but maintained his flame so she wouldn’t see it flutter (for a man light that would not be cool). Soon he and both the lights were talking.
The not blonde light mentioned to him, "I know a way for your problems to be fixed". He said, “Oh yeah and how much would that cost me?” “Nothing” was the answer. “Okay”, he thought,” What’s this chic light smoking?"

The girls told him, "The Big Light loves you and desires for you to prosper and be in good health". Puzzled, Funny Light asked, “What Big Light?”
The girls said "Big Light is the Father and Creator of all Lights". At this, he thought they were nuts. The girls said, "We are not crazy. Big Light indeed exists. He loves even you, and loves you even if you took the funky fuel that caused your family, friends and others many problems".
"The Big Light", they continued, "wants all lights to love him in return. This way he can help them every day and keep the problems away from their doorsteps, so they can prosper, and be healthy". “Yeah right”, Funny Looking Light said to them.
Soon the girls had to leave and Funny Looking Light told them it would be okay if they called on him later. He gave them his light box number and said to himself, "those chic lights will never see me again". After the girls left, Funny Looking Light went back to feeling sorrowful again, tanked up on funny fuel and headed home.
The next evening he began to contemplate how to blow out his light. No sooner had he begun thinking this way, he received a hologram from Blonde Chic Light. It read, “Will you please join me for a movie at a friend’s home tonight? Come as you are.” This caught his attention and he thought, “One last good time before I go might not be a bad idea”. He sent her a hologram back…”Sure.”
Some of the lights talked about the hard times they each had been through but now they were in good places in their lives. Their lights shined ever so bright as they talked. Blonde Chic Light talked about how she had lost all hope and was so happy to have found her way back to happiness also.
This kind of talk made Funny Looking light a bit anxious and uncomfortable but at the same time made him curious. As they were leaving, Funny Looking Light thanked them for the good time and answered, “Maybe” to the question if he wanted to come another time to learn more about the Big Light that had changed his new friend’s lives.
A few days passed and Funny Looking Light began to feel lonely but could not stop thinking about the new friends he had met. He wondered if it was possible to be happy as they, but then, he remembered all that he had done, condemned himself for thinking he deserved to be happy, and looked for his funny fuel.
Just as he was going to put his light out, the Blonde Chic Light rang his light box number. His hands shaking, he answered. A beautiful voice said, "I have been thinking of you and wondered if you would like to go get a halogen or two". Funny Looking Light hesitated, he then heard the beautiful voice again, “You know you do, please say yes.” He said “Okay, be right down, but, I am a mess.” Blonde Chic Light said “It doesn’t matter; you are fine in my eyes”.
While enjoying the halogens, the two talked of the troubles in their lives. Blonde Chic Light explained to Funny Looking Light, "Big Light obviously had a desire for you to be happy and healthy despite that you have felt you do not deserve it. Because, I did not bump into you by coincidence".
Blonde Chic Light then taught him about Big Lights love and of Big Lights son. She lovingly explained, "Because this son so loved his father, Big Light, and all the other lights like me and you; the son did as his father, Big Light had asked of him and died. He died to take back the control that the Dark Light had over lights like me and you here in this world". She further explained, "After the son of light died, Big Light brought his son back to life (raised him from death) and now, the Son of Light lives where Big Light lives".
Blonde Chic Light then explained to Funny Looking Light, she had accepted and confirmed her belief that Big Light (God) had raised (brought back from death) his son (Jesus) and had now made this son her Lord (Christ) instead of the Dark Light (Satan). Blonde Chic Light continued, "Since then, as you have seen, I am happy. And despite the things and problems that come at me from day to day, there has always been a way around or through them. No matter what they are." It was at this very moment, Funny Looking Light asked, "Can I do the same thing", for this, was what he wanted as well.
On the TV, Funny Looking Light, told the audience, it was this very moment that he himself exclaimed to the whole halogen restaurant that he believed that Big Light had raised his son from the dead and brought him back from death and this same son of light was now his Lord. Since that day, even though life was not easy and he was not perfect or felt he deserved to be saved from his previous ways, he was a changed light. He shone so brightly that others had to put on sun glasses just to be close to him, and, his desire for funny fuel was gone! He now worked daily, had goals in life, and was in the tip top shape of his life.
Funny Looking Light then looked straight into the TV camera and told the audience, "It is as simple as that!".

Li’l Light turned off her TV, sat very still and very quiet, then…”Big Light, I believe you raised your son from the dead and brought him back from death and this same Son of Light, I desire for him to be my Lord”. Li’l Light thought “Now what?”
The very next day, as she was sitting on a park bench eating her lunch, a grandmother light sat down next to her and began to read her Bible. Li’l Light asked, "Will you please share with me what you are reading?" The grandmother light looked at her, smiled and said “Certainly I will. I so felt the desire to come here to read today, and here you are. Ah yes, there are no coincidences you know.”
