Got Troubles? Way to Escape.

Got troubles?
1 Corinthians 10: 13 - 14 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

So what is idolatry?
Colossians 3: 5 tells us this: Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry... A little Bible research will usually help you find answers to questions.

Above the question is Got Troubles? We can quickly find out that our troubles and temptations are not unique to man and that no matter what the trouble is, there is a way to escape it. In the scripture above, it is noted that the instruction is to flee from idolatry.

Why is that an answer?
If you read the other passages before this one for scripture build up, you will see that it gives several examples of the children of Israel in the desert with Moses turned to idolatry and as a result lost their protection from God. So "wherefore, my dearly beloved..." God really does love us, but there are laws that he set forth that require us to do the work to stay protected. Our umbrella or our hedge of protection can only be there if we stay close to God. Therefore, flee from idolatry so that your protection will be there!

Build your understanding.
You may think of the idols (objects made by man)  in the Bible or from shows you have seen on TV. But, for certain, research it for a few minutes to really know what it means. Do not take someone else's thoughts on it. I did this by using the Lexicon in BlueLetterBible.org and found the verse that explains what idolatry is, as you can see in Colossians 3: 5 above. Now to go further with the research and to build your understanding, look up each of the words...fornication, uncleanness, etc. to discern fully what idolatry is. This will help you to strengthen your protection by removing any obstacles that are allowing troubles to enter your life.

Power against enemies.
Our loving Father in Heaven gave us his Word, The Bible, so that we can learn about Him and have power against our enemies. It is up to you to read it, study it and find the answers. And, of course, ask God (pray) for answers and deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ.

Amen?
