Genesis is so power packed with information ...exciting! Now that my thinker is turned on, consider this:
- Why was it dark in the first place?
- And why did God need to turn the lights on?
The clue is in the Hebrew words hayah without "tuhow" and "bohuw", (tuhow and bohuw are rhyming words, nice way to get your attention huh?). Translated these three words mean "became without form and void". Became? Now how did that happen?

One last thing, back to the light & darkness...in 1 John 1: 5 ...God is light and in him is no darkness at all. Which as you can see in Genesis 1:2 and 1:3, God overcame the darkness.
My father (God) is stronger than the darkness....awesome!
